Stylized Medieval Village

This project is very important to me as it's not only my largest project to date, but I also learned some very valuable skills in the process. I wanted to stick with some things that I’m familiar with, such as the architecture style of the houses, but challenge myself with learning new skills while developing this project. These skills being the creation and heavy utilization of a trim sheet as well as a custom tiling Substance Designer Material made from scratch. There are things I would love to add to this project when I have the time, and I love the idea of using it as a space to practice and learn other valuable skills and workflows! I had a blast working on this project.
I hope you enjoy it too!
The modular pieces and props you see were created from scratch. I hand sculpted the landscape and painted the foliage using Unreal Engine's landscape and foliage tools. The plaster and stone brick wall material are from an asset pack purchased on the Unreal Marketplace. The foliage and other assets are from the Unreal Marketplace: Stylized Mountain Environment - Open World Stylized Environment by Polyart Studio.
